REP. DUNCAN is the primary author of HJR 1056, a proposal to amend Article 7, Section 1 of the Oklahoma Constitution, making the state courts rely on federal and state laws when deciding cases and forbidding the courts from using Sharia law when making rulings.Oklahoma is the first state to pass such legislation.
